Big Girls Don’t Cry: A true story from catwalk to prison

Hi everybody!

Today I am going to be introducing my March favourite novel, called “Big Girls Don’t Cry“. It is actually based on a true story of a 20s lady.

Ivana grew up in a small village in Slovakia, dreaming of being a model like Kate Moss. She has made a lot effort in modelling, make-up and styling for photo shoots. Then she made it to be a model for London Fashion Week.

One day, she flew out to Buenos Aires and to get international photo works. However, the whole job was a set-up that she spent two years in a Parisian jail! The whole story shows how a young lady struggled through all the obstacles in prison.

And of course, some lovely friends she made there and some little cute love stories…

The most precious part is to see how the young lady live her brand new life again.

  • Why do I like the book?

I love the book because it is rather inspiring and motivating. And the book showed girls can be strong, too!

  • Who is the novel for?

For all the women who is facing difficulties or need more motivations because she didn’t give up!

  • My favourite quote

“I want to live my life in a way that means I will never, ever have to cry again.”
